  3. Patient Education: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for educating patients on how to properly take their medications, potential side effects, and any necessary precautions.
  4. Adhering to Safety Protocols: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for following all safety protocols to ensure the safe and effective use of medications, including proper handling, storage, and disposal.
  5. Collaborating with Healthcare Team: The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with pharmacists, nurses, and physicians to ensure coordinated and quality patient care.
  6. Data Entry: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for accurately entering patient and medication information into the pharmacy database.

  8. Maintaining Confidentiality: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  9. Quality Control: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for participating in quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing.
  10. Continuing Education: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for staying up-to-date on the latest developments in pharmacy practices and completing any necessary continuing education requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In An Inpatient Pharmacy Setting.

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Credential From A Recognized Institution Or State Board.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Pharmaceutical Drugs, Medical Terminology, And Prescription Filling Processes.

  • Familiarity With Pharmacy Software Systems, Such As Epic Or Cerner, And Ability To Accurately Enter And Retrieve Patient Information.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills To Interact With Healthcare Professionals, Patients, And Their Families In A Fast-Paced Environment.
