  1. Dispensing Medications: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for accurately and efficiently dispensing medications to patients according to established guidelines and procedures.
  2. Medication Management: It will be the responsibility of the Pharmacy Technician to assist in the management of medication inventory, including ordering, receiving, and restocking medications as needed.
  3. Assisting Pharmacists: The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with Pharmacists to ensure all medications are dispensed correctly and in a timely manner. They will also assist with medication therapy management and other pharmacy-related tasks.
  4. Patient Education: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for providing patients with information about their medications, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and any other relevant information.
  5. Maintaining Records: The Pharmacy Technician will accurately maintain patient and medication records, including entering information into the computer system.
  6. Adhering to Safety Protocols: The Pharmacy Technician will follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safe handling and dispensing of medications.
  7. Customer Service: The Pharmacy Technician will provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing any concerns related to their medications.
  8. Collaborating with Healthcare Team: The Pharmacy Technician will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to ensure proper medication management for patients.
  9. Training and Development: The Pharmacy Technician will participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay updated on industry regulations and advancements.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Recognized Pharmacy Technician Training Program Or Equivalent Education And Experience.

  • Valid And Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb) Certification.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As A Pharmacy Technician In A Hospital Or Retail Pharmacy Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Pharmacy Laws, Regulations, And Standards Of Practice.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Team-Oriented Environment.
