Job Description

Henry Ford Health System is seeking an experienced and motivated Perfusion Assistant to join our Surgery Services team. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who is able to work collaboratively with team members to ensure optimal patient care. The Perfusion Assistant will be responsible for providing technical support in the operation of the cardiopulmonary bypass, circulatory support systems, and general perfusion support in the operating room. The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or GED, current Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) certification, and a minimum of three years of recent, related experience in the operating room. In addition, the successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task effectively, and a strong commitment to patient safety.
