We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Psychotherapist to join our team and make a positive impact on the mental health of our pediatric patients. As a Pediatric Psychotherapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population of children and adolescents, providing therapeutic services that promote emotional, behavioral, and social well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of child development and the ability to create a safe and supportive environment for our young patients.   1. Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with pediatric patients to address emotional, behavioral, and social issues.
  2. Develop treatment plans and goals based on patients' specific needs and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  3. Utilize evidence-based practices and techniques to provide effective and appropriate therapy for pediatric patients.
  4. Create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for children and adolescents to express their thoughts and feelings.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients' families to involve them in the treatment process and provide them with resources and support.
  7. Stay updated on current research and developments in the field of pediatric psychology to continuously improve treatment methods.
  8. Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  9. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
  10. Advocate for the mental health needs of pediatric patients and promote awareness and education within the community.
  11. Participate in professional development activities to maintain licensure and enhance skills.
  12. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and patience in working with children and their families.
  13. Adhere to all policies and procedures of the Henry Ford Health System.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  15. Embrace and promote the mission, vision, and values of the Henry Ford Health System.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Or Social Work With A Focus On Child And Adolescent Therapy.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working As A Psychotherapist With Pediatric Patients.

  • State Licensure As A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw), Licensed Professional Counselor (Lpc), Or Licensed Psychologist (Lp).

  • Experience And Training In Evidence-Based Therapeutic Interventions For Children, Such As Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Cbt), Play Therapy, Or Family Therapy.

  • Strong Understanding Of Developmental Stages And Common Mental Health Issues Affecting Children And Adolescents, Including Adhd, Anxiety, And Depression.
