  1. Providing compassionate and exceptional care to patients in the Stepdown Intermediate Care unit.
  2. Assisting with daily tasks and activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
  3. Monitoring and recording vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
  4. Administering medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
  5. Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure the best possible care.
  6. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, following infection control and safety protocols.
  7. Assisting patients with mobility and transportation needs.
  8. Documenting patient information accurately and promptly.
  9. Responding to patient calls and requests in a timely manner.
  10. Participating in team meetings and collaborating with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
  11. Maintaining and restocking supplies and equipment as needed.
  12. Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  13. Adhering to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines.
  14. Continuing education and training to stay updated on best practices and procedures.
  15. Promoting and maintaining a positive and professional working environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification.

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Equivalent Certification From An Accredited Program.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience Working As A Patient Care Technician In A Hospital Or Similar Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Patient Care Techniques And Procedures, Including Vital Signs Monitoring, Wound Care, And Basic Medical Terminology.

  • Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members, And Provide Compassionate And High-Quality Care To Patients In A Stepdown Intermediate Care Unit.
