- Perform thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' hand and wrist conditions to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Utilize advanced surgical techniques and technologies to perform complex hand and wrist surgeries.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and pain management specialists.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in hand and wrist surgery to continuously improve patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on the surgical process, post-operative care, and rehabilitation.
- Adhere to all patient confidentiality and privacy regulations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient.
- Work closely with the administrative team to ensure efficient scheduling and timely patient follow-up.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and initiatives.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, providing compassionate care to all patients.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and standards to ensure a safe working environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with insurance companies and follow billing and coding guidelines to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.

- Act as a mentor to residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals in training.
- Represent the organization in a professional manner at conferences, seminars, and other networking events.
Medical Degree: A Qualified Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Medical School.
Residency Training: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Completed An Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program, With Specific Training In Hand Surgery.
Board Certification: The Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Orthopedic Surgery, With A Sub-Specialty Certification In Hand Surgery. This Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Expertise And Knowledge In The Field.
Experience: The Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience As A Practicing Orthopedic Hand Surgeon. This Experience Should Include A High Volume Of Hand Surgeries And A Variety Of Hand Conditions.
Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills: As A Part Of A Larger Healthcare Team, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Colleagues And Communicate With Patients And Their Families. This Includes The Ability To Explain Complex Medical Information In A Clear And Understandable Manner.
