  1. Provide compassionate and quality care to patients in accordance with the mission of Henry Ford Health System.
  2. Conduct thorough and comprehensive medical assessments and examinations of women of all ages.
  3. Diagnose and treat various gynecological and obstetrical conditions and perform necessary procedures.
  4. Create and implement effective treatment plans for patients, taking into consideration their individual needs and concerns.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients.
  7. Stay current with advancements and developments in the field of OB/GYN medicine.
  8. Educate patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
  9. Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families.
  10. Uphold high ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
  11. Participate in relevant meetings, conferences, and trainings to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
  12. Adhere to all policies and procedures of Henry Ford Health System.
  13. Actively contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
  14. Mentor and supervise medical residents and other healthcare staff as necessary.
  15. Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and overall quality of care.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Qualified Ob/Gyn Physician At Henry Ford Health System Should Possess A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.

  • Residency Training: The Candidate Should Have Completed A Residency Program In Obstetrics And Gynecology, Accredited By The Accreditation Council For Graduate Medical Education (Acgme).

  • Board Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Board-Certified By The American Board Of Obstetrics And Gynecology (Abog) Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Obstetrics And Gynecology (Aobog).

  • State Medical License: A Valid License To Practice Medicine In The State Of Michigan Is Required For This Position. The Candidate Should Also Be In Good Standing With The State Medical Board.

  • Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Practicing Obstetrics And Gynecology, Preferably In A Hospital Setting. Experience In High-Risk Pregnancies And Advanced Gynecological Procedures Is Preferred.
