  1. Oversee the daily operations of the Ambulatory Vascular Access department, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
  2. Provide strong clinical leadership and mentorship to the nursing team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans that meet individual needs and ensure quality outcomes.
  5. Demonstrate a deep understanding of nursing practices, procedures, and protocols, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  6. Serve as a resource for the nursing team, providing guidance and support in complex patient cases and challenging situations.
  7. Foster a compassionate and patient-centered environment, where the needs of patients and their families are prioritized and met with sensitivity and empathy.
  8. Ensure adequate staffing levels and appropriate allocation of resources to meet patient needs and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  9. Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of nursing staff, promoting diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
  10. Promote a positive and collaborative work culture, encouraging open communication, teamwork, and professional development among the nursing team.
  11. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of medical supplies, equipment, and medications, ensuring their proper usage and safe storage.
  12. Stay updated on the latest developments and advancements in nursing and healthcare, and incorporate best practices into the department's operations.
  13. Maintain accurate and timely records and reports, and assist with budgeting and financial planning for the department.
  14. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare facilities to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
  15. Uphold the values and mission of Henry Ford Health System, and consistently strive to provide the highest quality of care to our patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field

  • Active And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Michigan

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Ambulatory Vascular Access Nursing

  • Previous Leadership Experience In A Healthcare Setting
