  1. Oversee and manage daily operations of the Academic Ambulatory Clinic, ensuring high-quality patient care is provided.
  2. Lead and develop a team of nursing staff by providing guidance, mentorship, and training.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and implementing corrective action when necessary.
  6. Create and maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and promotes employee engagement.
  7. Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained and adjust staffing as needed to meet patient demand.
  8. Manage the budget for the clinic, making strategic decisions to optimize resources.
  9. Participate in hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts for nursing staff.
  10. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in academic nursing to continuously improve the clinic's operations and services.
  11. Serve as a liaison between the clinic, academic institutions, and other healthcare organizations.
  12. Handle patient and staff complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the clinic's commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
  14. Proactively identify potential issues and implement solutions to maintain the smooth operation of the clinic.
  15. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records related to the clinic's operations.
  16. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including patients, staff, and leadership, to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.
  17. Adhere to all ethical and professional standards in accordance with the nursing code of ethics.
  18. Represent the clinic in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  19. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth to enhance leadership skills and knowledge of academic nursing.

Job Qualifications
  • Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Michigan.

  • Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.

  • At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Or Management Role Within An Academic Ambulatory Clinic Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations, Policies, And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication, Problem-Solving, And Organizational Skills.
