Nurse Assistant - Cardiovascular ICU

1. Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
2. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the interdisciplinary team.
3. Assist with procedures and treatments as directed by the healthcare team.
4. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
5. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing emotional support and answering any questions.
6. Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
7. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
8. Assist with patient mobility and activities of daily living.
9. Administer basic medications and treatments as directed by a healthcare provider.
10. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
12. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
13. Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude while working in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team.
