  1. Perform MRI scans on patients using specialized equipment and protocols.
  2. Monitor and ensure patient safety during procedures.
  3. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and imaging results.
  4. Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques and protocols.
  5. Educate and prepare patients for procedures, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

  12. Participate in quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of imaging.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification And Licensure: Candidates Must Possess A Valid And Active Certification As A Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Mri) Technologist From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) And Be Licensed By The State In Which They Will Be Working.

  • Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Mri Technologist Is Preferred, With Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting Being Highly Desirable.

  • Technical Skills: Candidates Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Mri Technology And Equipment, As Well As Experience Operating And Troubleshooting Various Types Of Mri Machines. Proficiency In Using Mri Software And Image Processing Tools Is Also Required.

  • Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Essential. Mri Technicians Must Also Possess Strong Interpersonal Skills To Make Patients Feel At Ease During The Scanning Process.

  • Attention To Detail: Mri Technicians Must Have A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure Accurate Imaging And Patient Safety. They Must Also Be Able To Follow Protocols And Maintain A Clean And Safe Work Environment.
