  1. Monitor and document patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms accurately and in a timely manner.
  2. Notify nursing staff of any abnormal findings or changes in the patient's condition.
  3. Work closely with the nursing staff to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
  4. Maintain and troubleshoot telemetry equipment, ensuring proper function at all times.
  5. Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, providing updates and information as needed.
  6. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and patient privacy.
  7. Maintain patient records and documentation according to established guidelines.
  8. Respond quickly and efficiently to alarms and alerts, taking appropriate action as needed.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  10. Keep abreast of new developments and advancements in telemetry technology and techniques.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge and skills.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Basic Educational Qualification Is Required For This Role, As It Involves Understanding And Interpreting Medical Terminology And Data.

  • Certification In Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (Cpr): As A Monitor Technician, You Will Be Responsible For Responding To Cardiac Emergencies And Administering Cpr If Necessary. Having A Valid Cpr Certification Is A Must.

  • Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Prior Experience Working In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting Is Highly Preferred, As It Demonstrates Familiarity With Medical Equipment And Protocols.

  • Knowledge Of Ekg And Telemetry Monitoring: A Strong Understanding Of Ekg And Telemetry Monitoring Is Essential For This Role, As You Will Be Responsible For Accurately Interpreting And Reporting Cardiac Rhythms.

  • Attention To Detail And Ability To Multitask: As A Monitor Technician, You Will Be Monitoring Multiple Patients Simultaneously And Recording Their Vital Signs And Cardiac Rhythms. It Is Crucial To Have Excellent Attention To Detail And The Ability To Multitask Efficiently.
