  1. Conduct laboratory tests and procedures with accuracy and precision to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  2. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  3. Analyze and interpret test results, and report findings to healthcare providers in a timely and accurate manner.
  4. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and quality patient care.
  6. Stay updated on current laboratory technology and techniques to continuously improve laboratory processes.
  7. Train and mentor other laboratory staff, as needed.
  8. Comply with all regulatory guidelines and standards, including CLIA and OSHA.
  9. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of laboratory procedures and results.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers regarding laboratory test results and any necessary follow-up.
  11. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  12. Demonstrate a strong commitment to our organization's mission and values.
  13. Adhere to ethical and professional standards at all times.
  14. Attend continuing education programs and conferences to further develop skills and knowledge.
  15. Maintain ASCP certification and state licensure, as required.
  16. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  17. Collaborate with laboratory leadership to develop and implement new procedures and protocols.
  18. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  19. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the laboratory team.
  20. Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by laboratory management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting.

  • Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) From A Recognized Accrediting Agency (E.g. Ascp, Amt).

  • Proficiency In Performing A Variety Of Laboratory Tests And Procedures, Including Molecular And Microbiology Techniques.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Accurately Interpret And Analyze Laboratory Results.
