  1. Conduct laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  2. Utilize advanced medical laboratory equipment and technology to perform accurate and timely tests.
  3. Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring proper function and availability.
  4. Handle and process specimens according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
  5. Record and analyze test results, identifying any abnormalities or discrepancies.
  6. Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure the accuracy and relevance of test results.
  7. Adhere to quality control and quality assurance protocols to maintain the integrity and accuracy of laboratory results.
  8. Follow all safety and infection control procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  9. Maintain accurate and organized laboratory records and documentation.
  10. Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers by addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  11. Stay current with industry developments, regulations, and best practices related to medical laboratory testing.
  12. Participate in continuing education programs and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  13. Assist in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and protocols.
  14. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including confidentiality and patient privacy.
  15. Attend regular team meetings and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Associates Degree In Medical Laboratory Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Certification As A Medical Laboratory Technician (Mlt) By The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp).

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures And Equipment, Including Proficiency In Performing A Variety Of Laboratory Tests.

  • Excellent Organizational And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Accurately Record And Report Test Results.
