Job Qualifications
  • Board Certification In Medical Genetics: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Medical Genetics By The American Board Of Medical Genetics And Genomics (Abmgg) Or The American Board Of Genetic Counseling (Abgc).

  • Experience In Clinical Genetics: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Clinical Genetics, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Key Member Of The Healthcare Team, The Medical Geneticist Physician Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Providers.

  • Research Background: Candidates With A Strong Research Background In Medical Genetics Are Preferred, As Henry Ford Health System Is Committed To Advancing Medical Knowledge Through Research And Innovation.
