Medical Director - Hospice
Henry Ford Health System is seeking a passionate and experienced Medical Director for our Hospice program. As the Medical Director, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop the clinical team while providing compassionate care to patients and families in their end-of-life journey. - Lead and develop the clinical team: The Medical Director will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the clinical team, including nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide compassionate care: The primary responsibility of the Medical Director will be to provide compassionate care to patients and families in their end-of-life journey, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
- Ensure quality of care: The Medical Director will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of care provided by the hospice program, through regular evaluations, training, and implementing best practices.
- Develop and implement policies and protocols: The Medical Director will work closely with the hospice team to develop and implement policies and protocols to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team: The Medical Director will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans for patients, ensuring that all aspects of their care are addressed.
- Provide education and training: The Medical Director will be responsible for providing education and training to the clinical team, as well as other healthcare professionals and community members, to increase understanding and awareness of hospice care.

Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Hospice Care: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working In Hospice Care, With A Proven Track Record Of Providing Quality Care To Terminally Ill Patients.
