Certified Medical Assistant: Candidates Should Possess A Valid Certification As A Medical Assistant From An Accredited Institution, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Competency In Various Clinical And Administrative Tasks.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: Medical Assistants At Henry Ford Health System Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology To Effectively Communicate With Patients And Healthcare Providers, As Well As Accurately Document Patient Information.
Experience In Same Day Care: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Same Day Care Setting Is Preferred For This Position. This Includes Experience In Triaging Patients, Performing Basic Medical Procedures, And Managing Patient Flow In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Excellent Communication Skills: Medical Assistants Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Staff Members. This Includes The Ability To Explain Medical Procedures And Treatments In A Clear And Compassionate Manner.
Proficiency In Electronic Health Records (Ehr): Henry Ford Health System Utilizes An Electronic Health Records System, So Candidates Must Have Experience And Proficiency In Using Ehr To Accurately Document Patient Information, Schedule Appointments, And Manage Patient Records.
