We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant to join our Pediatrics team and play a crucial role in delivering exceptional healthcare services. As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with our pediatric healthcare providers to ensure the well-being and comfort of our young patients.   1. Assist pediatric healthcare providers in providing high-quality care to young patients.
  2. Work closely with patients and their families to ensure their comfort and well-being.
  3. Prepare exam rooms and equipment for patient visits.
  4. Take and record vital signs and patient information accurately.
  5. Administer medications and vaccines as directed by healthcare providers.
  6. Perform basic lab tests and procedures.
  7. Assist with patient education and provide resources to patients and families.
  8. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  10. Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  12. Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
  13. Attend training sessions and stay up-to-date on medical procedures and technology.
  14. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  15. Show compassion and empathy towards pediatric patients and their families.
  16. Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and verifying insurance.
  17. Adhere to all policies and procedures of the healthcare facility.
  18. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth.
  19. Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills.
  20. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Credentials.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Pediatric Setting.

  • Familiarity With Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems, Specifically Epic.

  • Knowledge Of Pediatric Medical Terminology And Procedures.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Children And Their Families In A Compassionate And Caring Manner.
