- Assist medical professionals: Medical Assistants will be responsible for supporting physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals by performing clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and preparing patients for examinations.
- Maintain patient records: It is the responsibility of the Medical Assistant to accurately and efficiently record patient information and update medical records as necessary.

Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program: Candidates Must Have Successfully Completed A Recognized Medical Assistant Program, Such As One Accredited By The Commission On Accreditation Of Allied Health Education Programs (Caahep) Or The Accrediting Bureau Of Health Education Schools (Abhes).
Current Certification As A Medical Assistant: Candidates Must Hold A Current Certification As A Medical Assistant From A Recognized Certifying Agency, Such As The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Or The American Medical Technologists (Amt).
Familiarity With Medical Terminology And Procedures: Candidates Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures, As Well As The Ability To Accurately Document Patient Information And Perform Basic Medical Procedures, Such As Taking Vital Signs And Administering Injections.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Candidates Must Have Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Team Members In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Healthcare Environment.
Experience With Electronic Health Records (Ehr): Candidates Should Have Experience Working With Electronic Health Record Systems, As Well As A Strong Understanding Of Hipaa Regulations And Patient Confidentiality.
