
Lead Radiographer

- Lead and mentor a team of radiographers to ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services to patients.
- Oversee the daily operations of the radiography department, including scheduling, equipment maintenance, and staff assignments.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards related to radiography procedures.
- Train and onboard new radiographers, providing guidance and support to help them succeed in their roles.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to coordinate patient care and meet their imaging needs.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the radiography team, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in radiography technology, and implement new techniques and protocols as appropriate.
- Handle patient inquiries and concerns, and address any issues that may arise during imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of all radiography procedures and patient data.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among team members.
- Adhere to the organization's mission, vision, and values in all aspects of the job.
- Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and satisfaction, seeking ways to improve processes and procedures.
- Participate in departmental and organizational meetings, trainings, and committees as required.
- Act as a role model for the radiography team, demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and respect for patients and colleagues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager or supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Radiologic Technologist In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Current Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Previous Experience In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.
