  1. Perform a variety of laboratory procedures, including specimen collection, processing, and testing, in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stored and disposed of.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely delivery of test results.
  4. Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure quality control and accuracy in all testing.
  5. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on test results and any potential issues.
  7. Assist with the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  8. Handle and store specimens according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
  9. Keep accurate records of all testing and results, and enter data into computer systems as required.
  10. Participate in research studies and contribute to the development of new laboratory techniques and procedures.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and training to stay updated on advancements in the field.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  13. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns.
  14. Follow all established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
  15. Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.
