- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with foot and ankle conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs and medical history.
- Utilize advanced medical knowledge and techniques to diagnose and treat a variety of foot and ankle conditions, including but not limited to fractures, sprains, deformities, and arthritis.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and techniques in foot and ankle medicine to provide the best possible care for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a collaborative and comprehensive approach to treatment.
- Perform surgical procedures when necessary and provide post-operative care and follow-up.
- Document all patient encounters and maintain accurate and organized medical records.
- Educate patients on proper foot and ankle care and provide recommendations for preventing future injuries or conditions.
- Collaborate with other physicians and healthcare providers within the HFHS system to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times while interacting with patients and colleagues.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Act as a resource for other healthcare professionals and team members on foot and ankle related issues.
- Adhere to HFHS policies and procedures and comply with all regulations and standards set by governing bodies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the Foot and Ankle department and HFHS as a whole.
Medical Degree: Candidates Must Have A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.
Residency Training: Candidates Must Have Completed A Residency Program In Orthopedic Surgery, Podiatry, Or A Related Specialty, With A Focus On Foot And Ankle Conditions.
Board Certification: Candidates Must Be Board-Certified Or Board-Eligible In Their Specialty, With A Focus On Foot And Ankle Conditions.
Experience: Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Practicing As A Foot And Ankle Physician, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Interpersonal Skills: Candidates Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team Of Healthcare Professionals.
