Medical Degree: A Qualified Candidate For A Hematologist/Oncologist Position At Henry Ford Health System Must Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution. This Degree Is Typically A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do).
Board Certification: Candidates Must Be Board Certified In Both Hematology And Oncology By The American Board Of Internal Medicine (Abim) Or The American Board Of Medical Specialties (Abms). This Demonstrates A High Level Of Knowledge And Expertise In The Field.
