Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and treat patients with gynecologic cancers, including cervical, ovarian, uterine, and vaginal cancers.
  2. Develop and implement treatment plans for gynecologic cancer patients, utilizing the latest evidence-based practices and technology.
  3. Conduct thorough physical examinations, review medical histories, and order and interpret diagnostic tests to accurately diagnose and stage gynecologic cancers.
  4. Perform surgical procedures for the treatment of gynecologic cancers, including minimally invasive and robotic surgeries.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and nurses, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for gynecologic cancer patients.
  6. Educate patients and their families about their diagnosis, treatment options, and potential side effects.
  7. Monitor and evaluate patients' progress during and after treatment, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  8. Participate in research and clinical trials related to gynecologic oncology, contributing to the advancement of treatment options for patients.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  10. Act as a leader and mentor for other healthcare professionals, sharing knowledge and expertise in gynecologic oncology.
  11. Stay current on developments and advancements in the field of gynecologic oncology, attending conferences and continuing education opportunities.
  12. Adhere to all medical and ethical standards, ensuring the highest quality of care for patients.
  13. Demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care and a desire to improve women's health.
  14. Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure efficient and effective operations and patient care.
  15. Participate in outreach and community education initiatives to promote awareness and prevention of gynecologic cancers.

Job Qualifications
  • Board Certification In Obstetrics And Gynecology From The American Board Of Obstetrics And Gynecology.

  • Completed A Fellowship In Gynecologic Oncology From A Recognized Institution.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Practicing As A Gynecologic Oncologist.

  • Strong Surgical Skills And Experience In Performing Complex Gynecologic Oncology Procedures.

  • Demonstrated Expertise In The Diagnosis And Management Of Gynecologic Cancers, Including Ovarian, Uterine, Cervical, And Vulvar Cancers.
