Job Description

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as the Group Practice Manager for the Outpatient Department of Geriatric Medicine at Henry Ford Health System. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our geriatric medicine practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and exceptional patient experiences. We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record of leadership, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry.   1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the geriatric medicine practice, including managing staff, budget, and resources to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality standards of care and improve patient outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement strategic plans for the practice.
  4. Monitor and analyze practice performance metrics and make necessary adjustments to ensure financial success.
  5. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  6. Hire, train, and evaluate staff, providing ongoing coaching and development to maintain a high-performing team.
  7. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to enhance the practice's reputation and referrals.
  9. Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in geriatric medicine to continually improve the practice.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the practice and other departments within the healthcare system to promote effective communication and coordination of care.
  11. Address and resolve any patient or employee concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Support the mission and values of the healthcare system and promote a patient-centered approach to care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Managerial Role Within A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Geriatric Medicine

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance Standards

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Collaborate With A Diverse Team

  • Proficiency In Electronic Health Record Systems And Other Healthcare Technology Platforms
