- Conduct advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures on patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
- Diagnose and treat patients with various gastrointestinal conditions, including but not limited to, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and irritable bowel syndrome.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care physicians, surgeons, and nurses, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and research in the field of gastroenterology to provide the best possible treatment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining medical procedures, treatment plans, and potential risks.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients' conditions, treatments, and progress.
- Participate in departmental meetings, conferences, and educational programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols, including infection control measures and safety regulations.
- Manage and prioritize a high volume of patient appointments, procedures, and follow-up visits.
- Provide guidance and supervision to medical residents and fellows.

Medical Degree: A Gastroenterologist - Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy At Henry Ford Health System Must Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution.
Board Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Gastroenterology And Have Completed A Fellowship In Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy.
Extensive Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Gastroenterology, With A Focus On Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Procedures.
Procedural Skills: Strong Proficiency In A Variety Of Endoscopic Procedures Such As Ercp, Eus, And Endoscopic Mucosal Resection Is Essential For This Role.
