Exercise Physiologist - Cardiac Testing

1. Conduct cardiac testing on patients, including exercise stress tests, pulmonary function tests, and other diagnostic procedures.
2. Develop individualized exercise plans based on patient's medical history and current condition.
3. Monitor and track patient progress during exercise sessions, adjusting plans as needed.
4. Educate patients on the importance of regular exercise for cardiovascular health and provide guidance on proper techniques and safety precautions.
5. Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including test results, exercise plans, and progress notes.
7. Stay up-to-date on current research and trends in exercise physiology and cardiovascular health to continuously improve patient care.
8. Maintain and calibrate exercise equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy during testing and exercise sessions.
9. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as ethical and legal standards related to patient care.
11. Collaborate with other exercise physiologists and healthcare professionals to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
12. Attend and participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and conferences to stay informed about new techniques and best practices.
13. Provide support and guidance to patients in achieving their exercise and wellness goals.
14. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times, showing empathy and respect for patients and their families.
