
Epic Trainer

In this role, you will play a crucial part in educating and training our staff on the use of Epic, our electronic medical record system. - Develop and implement training programs for staff on the use of Epic, our electronic medical record system.
- Conduct training sessions for new and existing staff to ensure proficiency in using Epic.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs and create customized training plans.
- Stay up-to-date on Epic system updates and changes, and incorporate them into training materials and sessions.
- Provide ongoing support and assistance to staff to troubleshoot any issues or questions they may have with Epic.
- Monitor and track staff progress and provide feedback to management on training effectiveness.
- Create and maintain training materials, including manuals, videos, and other resources.
- Communicate with staff about upcoming training sessions and provide reminders and follow-ups as needed.
- Attend meetings and collaborate with other trainers and departments to ensure consistency in training across the organization.
- Serve as a resource for staff by answering questions and providing guidance on the use of Epic.
- Continuously evaluate and improve training methods and materials to ensure the most effective and efficient training for staff.
- Act as a role model for following best practices and maintaining a high level of proficiency in using Epic.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations while conducting training sessions.
- Assist with onboarding new employees and providing Epic training as part of their orientation.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare, Education, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As An Epic Trainer Or In A Similar Training Role.
Epic Certification In At Least One Module (E.g. Ambulatory, Inpatient, Etc.).
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Individuals At All Levels Within The Organization.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Healthcare Workflows And Processes, As Well As Experience With Electronic Health Record Systems.
