Job Description

The Henry Ford Health System is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Employee Safety Specialist to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate will be an experienced safety professional who is passionate about protecting our employees and creating a safe workplace. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and evaluating programs to ensure the safety of our employees. The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational safety and health, with the ability to identify and address potential safety hazards. If you have a commitment to safety and a passion for making a difference in the lives of our employees, we would love to hear from you!Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health, industrial hygiene, or related field• 5+ years' experience in occupational safety and health• Comprehensive knowledge of regulations and standards applicable to employee safety• Ability to create policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
