In this role, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients receive accurate and timely diagnoses by performing electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other cardiac tests.   1. Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other cardiac tests accurately and efficiently.
  2. Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures and report any abnormalities to the healthcare team.
  3. Educate patients on the purpose and procedure of EKGs and other cardiac tests.
  4. Maintain and operate state-of-the-art equipment used for EKGs and other cardiac tests.
  5. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
  6. Record and maintain accurate and detailed patient information and test results.
  7. Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and changes in EKG procedures and equipment.
  8. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure timely and accurate diagnoses for patients.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
  11. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  12. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor towards patients and colleagues.
  13. Handle and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
  15. Follow all policies and procedures of the healthcare facility.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Medical Terminology.

  • Certified Ekg Technician (Cet) Or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Cci) Certification.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Performing Ekgs In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Familiarity With Ekg Equipment And Ability To Troubleshoot Technical Issues.

  • Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills, With The Ability To Interact Professionally With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
