• Oversee daily operations of the pharmacy department, including managing resources, workflow, and staff scheduling.
• Ensure the highest quality of care and service to patients by developing and implementing policies and procedures that align with industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with a team of pharmacists and technicians to drive continuous improvement and innovation in pharmacy services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and analyze pharmacy performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and ensure compliance with all state and federal laws related to pharmacy practice.
• Manage and maintain the pharmacy budget, including forecasting and monitoring expenses.
• Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, providing ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining appropriate medication levels.
