- Perform dialysis treatments according to established protocols and procedures.
- Monitor and assess patient's vital signs and overall condition during dialysis treatment.
- Administer medications and adjust treatment as directed by the physician.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
- Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of dialysis equipment.
- Educate patients and their families on dialysis procedures, dietary restrictions, and overall self-care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Participate in the training and orientation of new dialysis clinical technicians.
- Stay current with industry updates and advancements in dialysis technology.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients during treatments.

- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
Certification As A Dialysis Technician: The Candidate Should Possess A Valid Certification As A Dialysis Technician From A Recognized Organization Such As The Board Of Nephrology Examiners Nursing And Technology (Bonent) Or The National Nephrology Certification Organization (Nnco).
Experience In Dialysis Care: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Providing Dialysis Care To Patients, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.
Knowledge Of Dialysis Equipment And Procedures: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Dialysis Equipment, Procedures, And Protocols. They Should Also Be Familiar With Water Treatment Systems And Infection Control Measures.
Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills: As A Dialysis Clinical Technician, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Dialysis Clinics Often Have A High Volume Of Patients, And The Candidate Should Be Able To Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment. They Should Also Be Able To Handle Emergencies And Work Well Under Pressure.
