
Dialysis Clinical Technician

- Conduct dialysis treatments according to established protocols and procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and response to treatment, making adjustments as needed.
- Set up and operate dialysis equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness.
- Educate patients and their families on dialysis procedures, equipment, and self-care techniques.
- Assist in the assessment and documentation of patients' medical history and current condition.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patients' treatments and progress.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe treatment environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to provide compassionate and comprehensive care.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in dialysis technology.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including stocking and ordering necessary supplies.
- Assist with the transportation of patients to and from the dialysis unit.
- Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by actively participating in team meetings and supporting fellow team members.
Certified Dialysis Technician (Cdt) Certification Or Equivalent
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Dialysis Clinical Setting
Knowledge Of Dialysis Equipment And Procedures, Including Machine Set-Up, Maintenance, And Troubleshooting
Strong Understanding Of Infection Control Protocols And Safety Measures In A Clinical Setting
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals
