- Perform accurate and timely analysis and interpretation of cellular samples using specialized techniques and equipment.
- Utilize knowledge of cytology principles and techniques to accurately identify and diagnose abnormalities in cellular samples.
- Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure the quality and integrity of results.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team to ensure proper patient care.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in cytology technology and techniques, and implement them in daily work.
- Document and record test results accurately and maintain proper records for future reference.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and take appropriate actions to resolve them.
- Participate in quality control and assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of results.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling patient samples and information.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Act as a resource and mentor to other laboratory staff, sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and standards, including CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA.

Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment.
Bachelor's Degree In Cytotechnology Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Certification As A Cytotechnologist (Ct) By The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Cytology Laboratory Setting.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Cytology Principles, Techniques, And Procedures.
