  1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CT equipment in a safe and accurate manner.
  2. Ensure patient safety and comfort during all imaging procedures.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare team members to accurately assess and address patient needs.
  4. Review and evaluate physician orders to determine proper imaging protocols.
  5. Operate and maintain CT equipment, troubleshoot any technical issues and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
  6. Follow established protocols and procedures to obtain and record patient information, including medical history and relevant data.
  7. Accurately document and maintain records of all procedures performed.
  8. Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sterile environment.
  9. Maintain current knowledge of new and upcoming technologies, techniques and protocols in CT imaging.
  10. Educate patients on procedures, answer questions and address any concerns to ensure their understanding and comfort.
  11. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret images and provide accurate and timely reports.
  12. Participate in quality control and assurance activities to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging services.
  13. Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues.
  14. Adhere to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  15. Continuously strive to improve technical skills and knowledge through professional development opportunities.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Ct Technologist In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Valid State License And Certification As A Ct Technologist, Such As Arrt (American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists) Or Nmtcb (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board).

  • Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Ct Equipment, Including Knowledge Of Protocols And Techniques For Different Types Of Scans.

  • Strong Understanding Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Medical Terminology To Properly Position Patients And Capture Accurate Images.
