
Credentialing Coordinator

- Manage the credentialing process for healthcare professionals, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all necessary documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date records and files for all providers, including licenses, certifications, and other required credentials.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external agencies to obtain necessary information and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources team to ensure all providers meet the necessary qualifications and background checks.
- Conduct regular audits of provider credentials to identify any potential issues and take appropriate action to resolve them.
- Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and standards related to credentialing and make necessary updates to our processes and procedures.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and external credentialing agencies, responding to inquiries and providing necessary documentation.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with providers, addressing any concerns or issues related to credentialing.
- Coordinate and participate in provider orientation and training sessions to ensure understanding of credentialing requirements and processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive information related to provider credentials.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new credentialing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Regularly report on the status of provider credentials to management and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Act as a subject matter expert on credentialing, providing guidance and training to other team members as needed.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall credentialing process.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Credentialing Or Provider Enrollment Within A Healthcare Organization.
Knowledge Of Credentialing Processes, Regulations, And Standards, Including Ncqa, Tjc, And Cms.
Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Priorities And Meet Deadlines.
Strong Attention To Detail And Accuracy, With The Ability To Maintain Thorough And Complete Records.
