
Clinical Technician - IP Neuro

- Perform diagnostic testing: Conduct a variety of neurology diagnostic tests such as electroencephalograms (EEGs), nerve conduction studies, and electromyography (EMG) under the supervision of a physician.
- Monitor patient care: Observe and monitor patients during diagnostic testing, alerting medical staff to any changes in the patient's condition.
- Maintain equipment: Ensure all diagnostic equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in good working condition. Report any malfunctions or defects to the appropriate personnel.
- Record and report findings: Accurately record and report test results to the supervising physician, including any abnormalities or concerns.
- Prepare patients for testing: Assist patients with necessary preparations for diagnostic testing, including explaining procedures and answering any questions they may have.
- Follow safety protocols: Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the safety of patients and staff during testing.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and ensure smooth workflow.
- Provide patient education: Educate patients and their families on diagnostic testing procedures, results, and any necessary follow-up care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality: Ensure patient privacy and maintain confidentiality of all medical information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Attend trainings and stay updated: Attend trainings as required to stay updated on new procedures, equipment, and techniques in the field of neurology and diagnostic testing.

Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Neuroscience, Biology, Or Healthcare Management.
Certification As A Clinical Technician Or Medical Assistant.
Experience Working In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting, Preferably With Neurology Patients.
Knowledge Of Neurologic Disorders, Diagnostic Tests, And Treatment Options.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients.
