We at the Henry Ford Health System are seeking a motivated and dependable Breeding Colony Technician - Bioresources to join our team. This position is a key part of the Bioresources team and requires a detail-oriented, organized individual who is comfortable working independently and as part of a larger team. The Breeding Colony Technician - Bioresources is responsible for the husbandry and maintenance of an established breeding colony and will oversee the acquisition and management of laboratory animal colonies, as well as the maintenance of related records.The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working in a laboratory setting with laboratory animals, preferably mice. They should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.
