  1. Provide individual and group psychotherapy services to patients in accordance with evidence-based practices and treatment plans.
  2. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients.
  4. Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions to support patients' emotional, behavioral, and psychological well-being.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient sessions, progress, and treatment plans.
  6. Continuously evaluate and modify treatment plans based on patients' progress and needs.
  7. Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in acute distress.
  8. Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of mental health and implement them in practice.
  9. Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, promoting mental health awareness and destigmatizing mental illness.
  10. Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and other professional development activities.
  11. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice, maintaining confidentiality and boundaries with patients.
  12. Collaborate with community resources and make appropriate referrals for patients' ongoing care.
  13. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health, treatment options, and coping strategies.
  14. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and sensitivity towards patients from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  15. Comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Psychology, Counseling, Or Social Work From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In Providing Psychotherapy Services To Individuals, Families, And Groups.

  • Certification Or Licensure In The State Of Michigan As A Licensed Professional Counselor (Lpc), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw), Or Licensed Psychologist.

  • Experience And Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Treatment Modalities, Such As Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Cbt), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (Dbt), And Mindfulness-Based Therapies.

  • Strong Understanding Of Mental Health Disorders And The Ability To Conduct Comprehensive Assessments And Develop Treatment Plans For Clients With Diverse Needs And Backgrounds.
