- Conduct research on substance abuse treatment methods and outcomes to contribute to the development of effective treatment programs for patients.
- Collaborate with other members of the research team to design and implement studies related to substance abuse.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and patterns in substance abuse and treatment.
- Prepare and present findings to internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, policymakers, and community organizations.
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in the field of addiction treatment to inform our approach and improve patient outcomes.
- Support the development and implementation of evidence-based interventions and protocols for substance abuse treatment.
- Assist in grant writing and seeking funding opportunities for substance abuse research projects.
- Train and mentor junior research staff and students on research protocols and methods.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of research data and findings.
- Adhere to ethical standards and regulations in all aspects of research, including participant recruitment, consent, and data privacy.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to integrate research findings into patient care and treatment plans.
- Contribute to the dissemination of research findings through publications and presentations at conferences and other events.
- Participate in departmental meetings and discussions to contribute to the overall goals and objectives of the research team.
- Work closely with community organizations and stakeholders to understand the impact of substance abuse and collaborate on research initiatives.
- Continuously evaluate and improve research methods and processes to ensure high-quality and impactful research.
A Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Psychology, Social Work, Or Public Health.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Substance Abuse Treatment Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practices For Treating Substance Use Disorders.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Teams.
Experience Conducting Assessments, Developing Treatment Plans, And Documenting Patient Progress.
