Job Description

At Heartland Payment Systems, we are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate is an analytical thinker who loves working with data and is driven to find actionable insights. Our Senior Data Analyst will use their expertise to analyze data sets, create reports, and provide recommendations to inform business decisions.The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in data analytics, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and a strong understanding of SQL. The Senior Data Analyst must be able to work independently, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively with all levels of the organization. We are looking for someone who is passionate about data and is excited to join a team that is always striving to improve and innovate.

Responsibilities:

Analyze data sets to uncover insights and actionable recommendations.
Create reports that clearly communicate analytical results.
Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Research and leverage new data sources to improve modeling and analysis capabilities.
Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
Monitor and report on data trends and performance metrics.
Provide technical guidance and support to other data analysts.
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Develop and maintain data analytics dashboards.
