  1. Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and plans for all products and services at Hearst Corporation.
  2. Conduct thorough testing and analysis of software applications to identify and report any defects or issues.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all quality standards are met and maintained throughout the development process.
  4. Design and execute test cases and scenarios to guarantee the functionality, performance, and user experience of all products and services.
  5. Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Communicate and document test results, issues, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  7. Lead and mentor junior QA team members, providing guidance and support in testing best practices.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance techniques and tools.
  9. Work closely with developers, project managers, and other team members to identify and resolve any quality-related issues.
  10. Collaborate with product owners to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential impacts to quality.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Quality Assurance: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Quality Assurance, With A Strong Understanding Of Industry Best Practices, Methodologies, And Tools.

  • Strong Technical Skills: A Senior Qa Engineer At Hearst Corporation Should Possess Strong Technical Skills In Areas Such As Test Automation, Api Testing, And Database Querying. Knowledge Of Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, Or Javascript Is Also Highly Desirable.

  • Leadership And Team Management: As A Senior Qa Engineer, The Candidate Should Be Able To Lead And Manage A Team Of Qa Engineers, Providing Guidance, Mentoring, And Support When Needed. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Ability To Design And Execute Test Plans: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Designing And Executing Comprehensive Test Plans For Complex Software Systems. This Includes Identifying And Prioritizing Test Cases, Creating Test Data, And Troubleshooting Defects.

  • Continuous Learning And Improvement: A Senior Qa Engineer At Hearst Corporation Should Be Proactive In Keeping Up With The Latest Trends And Advancements In The Quality Assurance Field. The Candidate Should Also Be Able To Identify Areas For Improvement In The Qa Process And Implement Solutions To Enhance Efficiency And Effectiveness.
