  1. Ensure the smooth operation of broadcast facilities by performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.
  2. Monitor and maintain the quality of audio and video signals, making necessary adjustments to ensure the highest level of production standards.
  3. Collaborate with the production team to set up and execute live broadcasts, including camera, lighting, and audio equipment.
  4. Assist with the setup and maintenance of equipment for remote broadcasts, ensuring all necessary technical elements are in place and functioning properly.
  5. Keep up-to-date with the latest technology and equipment in the broadcast industry, and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements as needed.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all equipment and technical procedures, including maintenance schedules and inventory.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may occur during live broadcasts, ensuring minimal disruption to the production.
  8. Work closely with other team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow, and provide support as needed to ensure the success of each production.
  9. Follow all safety protocols and procedures when handling and operating equipment, and report any safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  10. Be available for flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, to meet the demands of live broadcasting and other production schedules.

  • Knowledge Of Broadcast Equipment: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Broadcast Equipment, Including Cameras, Audio Mixers, Lighting, And Graphics Systems. This Knowledge Is Essential For Troubleshooting Technical Issues And Ensuring Smooth Operations During Live Broadcasts.

  • Previous Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role Is Required. The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Operating And Maintaining Broadcast Equipment In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Attention To Detail: The Candidate Must Possess Strong Attention To Detail And The Ability To Multitask. They Will Be Responsible For Setting Up And Monitoring Multiple Equipment Feeds During Live Broadcasts, And Any Errors Or Oversights Can Have A Significant Impact On The Quality Of The Broadcast.

  • Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In This Role. The Candidate Must Be Able To Communicate Clearly And Efficiently With Other Technicians, Producers, And On-Air Talent To Ensure The Smooth Execution Of Live Broadcasts.

  • Flexibility And Availability: The Candidate Should Be Willing To Work A Flexible Schedule, Including Weekends And Evenings. They Should Also Be Available To Work On Short Notice For Breaking News Events Or Unexpected Technical Issues. Additionally, The Ability To Adapt To A Constantly Changing Environment Is Essential For Success In This Role.
