- Develop and maintain the overall editorial vision and direction for Prevention, ensuring that it aligns with the brand's mission and goals.
- Lead and manage a team of writers and editors, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure the production of high-quality and engaging content.
- Act as a strategic thinker, staying up-to-date with industry trends and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, sales, and design to develop and execute successful content strategies that drive audience engagement and revenue.
- Oversee the editorial calendar and ensure timely delivery of content, adhering to deadlines and budgets.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, creativity, and innovation.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in digital media and utilize this knowledge to enhance the publication's online presence and reach.
- Represent the brand at industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external contributors, industry experts, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure that all content is in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Act as a brand ambassador, upholding the values and principles of Prevention and Hearst Corporation.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Journalism, Communications, Or A Related Field.
At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In A Senior Editorial Role, Preferably In The Health And Wellness Industry.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Editors And Writers.
Proven Track Record Of Developing And Executing Successful Editorial Strategies.
Excellent Writing And Editing Skills, With A Keen Eye For Detail And A Thorough Understanding Of Ap Style.
