  1. Develop and maintain the overall editorial vision and direction for Prevention, ensuring that it aligns with the brand's mission and goals.
  2. Lead and manage a team of writers and editors, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure the production of high-quality and engaging content.
  3. Act as a strategic thinker, staying up-to-date with industry trends and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  4. Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, sales, and design to develop and execute successful content strategies that drive audience engagement and revenue.
  5. Oversee the editorial calendar and ensure timely delivery of content, adhering to deadlines and budgets.
  6. Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  7. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, creativity, and innovation.
  8. Stay informed about the latest advancements in digital media and utilize this knowledge to enhance the publication's online presence and reach.
  9. Represent the brand at industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with external contributors, industry experts, and key stakeholders.
  11. Ensure that all content is in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  12. Act as a brand ambassador, upholding the values and principles of Prevention and Hearst Corporation.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Journalism, Communications, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In A Senior Editorial Role, Preferably In The Health And Wellness Industry.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Editors And Writers.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Executing Successful Editorial Strategies.

  • Excellent Writing And Editing Skills, With A Keen Eye For Detail And A Thorough Understanding Of Ap Style.
