Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to join the Hearst Corporation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal regulations and experience in operational compliance. To be successful in this role, you should be an analytical thinker with excellent research and problem-solving skills. If you have a passion for compliance and are eager to help ensure our organization is always adhering to the highest industry standards, we want to hear from you!Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field• At least 5 years of experience in a compliance-related role• Working knowledge of legal regulations and corporate governance• Excellent research and problem-solving skills• Strong organizational and communication skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and maintain corporate compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  2. Develop, implement and maintain internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  3. Conduct research and analysis to identify and report any potential risk areas.
  4. Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulations.
  5. Prepare and submit reports to management and other relevant parties.
  6. Respond to inquiries and requests for information from regulatory bodies.
  7. Investigate potential non-compliance issues and take corrective action as needed.
  8. Keep abreast of changes in the legal and regulatory environment.
  9. Assist with the development and implementation of a comprehensive training program on compliance.
  10. Maintain accurate records and documentation of compliance activities.
