- Oversee and manage the technical aspects of broadcast productions, including live and pre-recorded programs, commercials, and other on-air content.
- Operate and maintain all necessary equipment, including cameras, audio and video switchers, graphics systems, and other technical components.
- Collaborate with producers, directors, and other team members to ensure the quality and accuracy of all on-air content.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during live broadcasts or pre-production.
- Coordinate with external vendors and technicians to ensure the proper setup and functionality of equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest broadcasting technologies and equipment, and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements as needed.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures for all broadcast equipment and systems.
- Train and supervise junior technical staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to assist with broadcast productions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, representing the company and its values in all interactions with colleagues and external partners.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Technical Director In A Television Broadcast Environment.
Extensive Knowledge Of Broadcast Production Equipment, Including Switchers, Cameras, And Audio Equipment.
Proficiency In Live Production, Including Directing Live Shows And Events.
Strong Technical Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills.
Ability To Work Under Pressure And Meet Tight Deadlines In A Fast-Paced And Ever-Changing Broadcast Environment.
