Hearst Corporation is seeking an Assistant to the Creative Director for Oprah Daily, our newest digital publication dedicated to empowering and inspiring women. As the Assistant to the Creative Director, you will play a vital role in supporting the creative vision and direction of the publication and its team. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.   1. Support the Creative Director in the development and execution of the creative vision for Oprah Daily, ensuring all content aligns with the brand's messaging and tone.
  2. Work closely with the Creative Director to brainstorm and develop new and innovative content ideas and concepts.
  3. Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure all creative elements, including graphics, visuals, and design, are delivered in a timely and effective manner.
  4. Assist in the management of projects from concept to completion, ensuring all deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
  5. Conduct research and gather information to support the development of creative concepts and strategies.
  6. Coordinate and attend meetings with the Creative Director and other team members, taking detailed notes and providing updates on project progress.
  7. Maintain organization and version control of all creative assets, including images, videos, and graphics.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in design, storytelling, and digital media to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team.
  9. Act as a liaison between the Creative Director and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  10. Take on additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Creative Director to support the overall success of Oprah Daily.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Journalism, Communications, Or Marketing.

  • 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Digital Media Or Publishing Environment.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With A Diverse Group Of Individuals.

  • Strong Organizational And Multitasking Abilities, With The Capacity To Handle Multiple Projects And Deadlines Simultaneously.

  • Proficiency In Various Software And Tools, Including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, And Content Management Systems.
