Senior Informatics Consultant

Our ideal candidate will have the ability to provide technical and analytical leadership and expertise in the development, implementation, and maintenance of health care informatics systems.The Senior Informatics Consultant will be responsible for formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify complex information systems, including the design of business and technical processes, system architecture, and system design. They will develop, implement, and maintain health care informatics systems that meet customer requirements and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, plus at least 5 years of experience in health care informatics, system design and development, and system architecture. Additionally, you must have an in-depth understanding of health care processes and data models, and experience with multiple software platforms. A successful Senior Informatics Consultant at Health Care Service Corporation must also have excellent oral and written communication skills and be comfortable working independently and in a team environment.
