
VP - Quality and Patient Safety
HCA Healthcare is looking for a talented, experienced Vice President - Quality and Patient Safety to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and overseeing HCA Healthcare's quality and patient safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in leading and managing quality improvement projects, initiatives, and programs, as well as a commitment to promoting a culture of safety.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business administration, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in healthcare quality, patient safety, and/or health information management• Proven leadership and project management experience• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Strong problem-solving abilitiesIf you have the qualifications and passion to lead and improve our quality and patient safety efforts, we invite you to apply to join our team. Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive quality and patient safety strategies to ensure that HCA Healthcare meets regulatory and accreditation standards • Oversee and manage all quality improvement projects, initiatives, and programs • Lead quality and patient safety initiatives across the organization, including developing and monitoring performance metrics and improvement plans • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, staff, and patients to ensure quality of care • Monitor and evaluate patient safety and quality data to identify areas of improvement and suggest solutions • Create and manage teams to ensure an effective and efficient quality and patient safety process • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards • Ensure that safety protocols are consistently followed to maintain a safe and secure healthcare environment • Provide leadership and guidance to quality and patient safety staff, and serve as a role model for high-quality standards and practices
