Responsibilities:

1. Transport patients to and from various locations within the hospital in a safe and timely manner.
2. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot wheelchairs, stretchers, and other transport equipment.
3. Provide assistance to patients, such as helping them get into and out of vehicles and wheelchairs.
4. Follow established policies and procedures for patient transport.
5. Maintain a clean and orderly transport area.
6. Maintain accurate records of patient transport and log them into the computer system.
7. Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
8. Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members.
9. Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service.
10. Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
